Khalid A. Asad, Ph.D. Business Psychology

President/CEO

Dr. Khalid Asad is an accomplished executive coach, leadership strategist, and organizational development facilitator with more than 25 years of experience guiding leaders and organizations toward greater effectiveness, alignment, and impact. As Co-Founder and President of Performance Plus International, Inc., he leads a team that partners with government, nonprofit, and private-sector organizations to strengthen leadership capacity, enhance organizational culture, and drive sustainable performance.

A respected member of the Forbes Coaches Council, Khalid is nationally recognized for his expertise in executive coaching, strategic planning, and facilitation. Drawing on his background in business psychology and systems thinking, he helps senior leaders navigate complexity, inspire engagement, and lead with authenticity and purpose. His coaching approach blends whole-person leadership with practical insight to create meaningful results for individuals and teams.

Dr. Asad’s distinguished career includes serving as Senior Advisor Department of Human Services, where he partnered with others to lead major reform initiatives for city’s child welfare system; as a Senior Learning and Development Consultant with American Management Systems, where he designed and facilitated large-scale leadership and change management initiatives for public-sector clients; and as a proud United States Air Force veteran, where he developed his foundation in disciplined leadership and service. He also led strategic initiatives for the Delaware Department of Health and Human Services to expand access and improve service delivery for children, families, and adults.

Dr. Asad is a certified coach and an ICF-accredited coach trainer. He also holds a Ph.D. in Business Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Master of Science in Management from Wilmington University. He is the author of To Hell with Titles: Give Them Leadership, a practical guide to authentic leadership and influence.
