Khalid A. Asad, Ph.D. Candidate Business Psychology, MS Management

Khalid Asad is a national expert in leadership and organizational change. He believes organizations are living systems that must evolve within their larger ecosystems to survive and thrive. With more than 20 years’ experience, he is a highly regarded Consultant, Executive Coach and Facilitator who assists client-partners to clarify their desired journey and support them in creating road maps for reaching their destination. His coaching philosophy and approach help leaders develop cognitively, emotionally, behaviorally, and enhance their ability to build relationships and lead transformational change. Khalid’s approach to building leadership capacity and facilitating organizational change has been instrumental in helping teams and organizations improve service delivery practices, business results, and outcomes.

Khalid has engaged, coached and trained leaders in public-sector and nonprofit organizations on strategic change initiatives, building personal and organizational leadership capacity, and creating an inclusive work culture. Some of the organizations that have benefited from partnering with him include Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, City of Philadelphia Department of Human Services, City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS), Prince William County Virginia Government, National Science Foundation, Delaware Division of Professional Regulations, American Psychological Association (APA), Villanova University, and Casey Family Programs.

Khalid is currently conducting scholarly research on leadership maturity to determine how a leader’s developmental (maturity) level impacts followers’ willingness to follow, trust, commit and perform. His 9P Model for Leading Change has been used by organizations to simplify, plan, and implement change initiatives and strategic planning processes. Khalid’s curiosity, creativity, and willingness to take risks challenges clients to innovate and move beyond the status quo.
