Lead Change That Lasts
Become a Certified 9 Ps Change Practitioner through one comprehensive six-month experience, applying a proven framework to a real change initiative in your own organization.
An immersive, practice-based pathway to leading change that lasts
The 9 Ps Change Management Certification is built for leaders and consultants ready to lead organizational change with confidence, rigor, and care. Through live workshops, hands-on application, mentored advising, required readings, and self-paced learning, you build the knowledge, skill, and judgment to diagnose, plan, lead, and sustain change as an internal or external consultant. The program is grounded in the 9 Ps for Leading Change, our practical framework for guiding change from the first human reaction through to lasting adoption, and you apply it throughout to a real initiative in your own organization.
People-centered, systemic change
Our work is grounded in Whole-Person Leadership, the belief that leaders are people first. That same conviction shapes how we approach change. Lasting change begins with people and is sustained through systems. Organizations do not change until the people in them are ready to, and even committed people cannot sustain a new way of working if the surrounding structures, processes, and policies still reward the old one. Four commitments run through every stage of the framework.
Inclusion
Bring the right voices in early and often.
Communication
Make the change clear, honest, and human.
Collaboration
Solve adaptive challenges with the people closest to the work.
Support
Hold people through the real experience of transition.
- Change begins with people, attending to emotion, resistance, and engagement rather than treating transformation as a purely technical exercise.
- Change is sustained through systems, aligning processes, structures, roles, and policies so new ways of working hold.
- Practitioners diagnose before they prescribe, reading the organization and its context before acting.
- Learning translates immediately into impact, applied to a real change in your own organization.
Built for people who lead change
Whether you guide change from inside your organization or advise others through it, this certification gives you a shared language, a proven framework, and a credential to match your practice.

A curriculum built around the 9 Ps for Leading Change
Every module combines instruction with live practice, feedback, and direct application to your capstone project. The curriculum is balanced across diagnosis, strategy, the human dimension of change, and sustaining results.
Learn why change succeeds or fails and where leaders and consultants make the difference. Establish the foundation of the framework, Attending to the People, and lead the human side of change from day one. Launch and scope your capstone initiative.
Read the forces driving change with a PESTEL scan of the external environment and a clear look at the internal context. Diagnose the gap between where the organization is and where it needs to be, then build and present an evidence-based business case leaders can act on.
Translate the business case into a vision people can see and commit to, supported by a compelling narrative and clear communication. Define what success looks like, including outcomes, measures, baselines, and accountability, so progress can be tracked.
Set the guiding values and principles that steer decisions when uncertainty is high, and surface the assumptions that hold change back. Engage the people closest to the work to solve adaptive challenges through facilitation, experimentation, and pilots.
Make new ways of working stick. Reinforce new behaviors through modeling, coaching, and recognition, and align the processes, structures, and roles around them. Institutionalize the change through policy, governance, and norms so it endures.
Bring the full framework together, using the 9 Ps as a diagnostic and planning tool. Measure and communicate your impact, then prepare and rehearse your capstone for the residency weekend.
